Thing #17 Play in the Sandbox

I think playing the Sandbox was fun because you can put in color, change the font and add images. It is like you create your own art work. I had a little trouble putting in my link, but once Maggie showed me it seemed so easy.

Thing #16 Wikis

I really enjoyed the presentation on Wikis because he explains it so well with such a sense of humor. Wikipedia is a great tool because it is a great way to share informatiion. The OCL article is also good because it explains all the history of the OCL Library System and if you want to know more about the branches. I did not understand Library Success.

Web 2.0 is a tool in the use of World Wide Web technology and web design. This aims to help find information. These concepts have hosted services, such as social-networking sites, wikis, and blogs. If this is the 2nd generation what would the 3rd be like??????

Technorati is very confusing to me. When I was exploring it I found the lingo was hard to understand. It made it boring and time consuming. I do not think the library would benefit from it.

Delicious is great for the library because it will have all your URL favorites on one site. It is so great for reference because it saves so much time. Personally, I would not do it because I do not have the time

I think the Net Library is very good because it will saves a lot of time. I think showing the patrons will be very easy.

World Cat is a great system because it is a fast way to get the request for material for the patron.

I do not like Technology it gives me a headache. Maybe after this Web Challenge I will start to like Tech??
